What better way to display a Titanic Lego build than with a custom hand carved shelf. This shelf was commissioned by a dear friend of mine Kenny who needed a beautiful and unique way to display his hard work, we communicated throughout the various stages of the construction and in the end we decided to make the shelf look like water. Initially i had designed this shelf to me carved on the CNC but ran into a few issues so i pulled out the hand tools and began carving by hand. it was a fun challenge and made one of the biggest messes i have ever made. Overall it was a very rewarding experience and luckily he really loved the design as much as i loved making it.
